...The attackers for the first time...
Billie J Blastkowitcz
(Special Character)
Blastkowitcz has travelled
through a great many times and places, and always finds himself in the
middle of conflicts, however great or small. Later to become a veteran
of the first and second great Clone wars, Blastkowitcz becomes a highly
important character in the final great Clone war. Blastkowitcz has never
been seriously injured in combat, and is the single jammiest person ever
found to be in existence, the result of which makes him almost
impervious to enemy fire. Should Blastkowitcz find himself in a position
where he would normally be killed, he disappears in a cloud of smoke
instead.
Acting Primero Lucius Stern -
1st Grand Company UNDH (Special Character)
Stern is the greatest of the 1st
Company’s current leaders, both a ferocious warrior without compare and
leader who counsels with both courage and wisdom. Stern is the current
acting Company Commander Primero, and is currently leading the entire
war effort on Homeworld personally. His presence inspires fear in the
hearts of his foes and courage in the hearts of his allies.
UNDH Commander
This is a lower ranking generic
UNDH Commander unit. UNDH Commanders are very resilient, and are capable
of dealing an awesome amount of damage to the enemy. They are
frightening opponents, and are inspiring to those they lead. Their
greatest strength is that they are almost indistinguishable from regular
UNDH troopers, providing a very nasty surprise to any foes they engage
in close combat.
Troopers
The Trooper is the basic grunt
of the Human army. Lightly armoured and armed, the Trooper is best used
in large packs, where they can bring their collective firepower to bear.
They are very vulnerable to the enemy, and can often require combination
with other formations to boost their effectiveness.
Marksmen
Marksmen are identical to
Troopers, save that they are equipped with a long range, low rate of
fire rifle, ideal for picking off enemy soldiers at extreme range. They
are more expensive and specialised, thus rarer. They are well combined
with other infantry formations, boosting the overall range of the unit,
softening up groups of foes before they enter effective range.
Flamethrowers
Flamethrowers have better
survivability than Troopers, but lack the ranged weaponry. They have no
melee ability; instead they prefer to lay down solid torrents of fire
into massed enemy units. For this very reason, it is better not to
combine other infantry blocks with Flamethrowers, as unwary allies can
also find themselves caught in the indiscriminate firing line. They can
explode violently when killed with certain weapons.
Psychics
Human Psychics make for
destructive weapons in combat. They wear no armour and are extremely
vulnerable to enemy fire or melee attacks. They carry no weapons save
for their staff and awesome psychic abilities – however these very
abilities are extremely destructive and can unleash hell on unsuspecting
foes, demoralising them, or blasting enemy characters into oblivion.
Stealth Adept
The Stealth Adept is ideal for
sneaking into important enemy formations and tearing them apart. Despite
being armed only with a .32 Machine Pistol and a Katana, the Stealth
Adept can tear apart enemies at short range, or use his excellent
technical skills to cause immeasurable disruption to enemy battle plans
by sabotaging important supply lines, power generators or communications
arrays.
Veterans
Veterans have seen and survived
a greater quantity of battles than other soldiers. They are more
indoctrinated to the terrors of war, offer greater survivability and
more reliability in the field.
UNDH Storm Troopers
Armed with brutal UNDH issue
Assault Carbines and Power Armour, Storm Troopers are brutally effective
infantry with a high resilience. They provide excellent ranged firepower
and better melee ability than basic grunts.
UNDH Guardians
Guardians are identical to Storm
Troopers, but prefer to have to be deployed into a stationary position
when firing; however they can bring their awesome Sonic Blasters to bear
at long range, dealing lethal damage to enemy infantry columns or armour
en mass.
UNDH Commandos
Equipped with special Jet Packs,
Plasma Cannons and a Katana, the UNDH Commando is an extremely adept
soldier with awesome ballistic and melee ability. They are extremely
resilient and are completely fearless, providing an awesome strike
weapon when used correctly. They are extremely mobile but their rarity
tends to force them into service only as a specialist troop.
UNDH Bikers
UNDH Novices are commonly formed
into initiate packs, and given a fast moving dirt bike to allow them to
get into trouble far faster than a regular soldier. Travelling at great
speed, Bikers can run down enemy troops, using their agility as a
defence against enemy fire. Their mobility makes them an ideal
specialist assault troop, and also a superb rapid interception unit.
Vultures
Swooping down on synthetic wings
constructed of a great many paper-thin blades, Vultures are superb melee
troopers, showering their foe in a cloud of sharp metal disks before
descending onto their hapless foes and eviscerating them with their
steel blades. Vultures are extremely vulnerable to enemy fire, but
present an awesome threat to the enemy should they manage to engage a
foe in hand to hand combat.
Mortar Teams
Mortar Teams when deployed lay
down a barrage of light explosive fire on enemy positions, they lack
anti-armour ability, but more than make up for this with the havoc that
they reap on massed infantry units.
Chaingun Teams
Chaingun Teams when deployed can
lay down an impenetrable wall of lead over a short distance, dealing
immeasurable damage to enemy infantry that come too close.
Blaster Teams
Blaster Teams are equipped with
a specialised missile firing cannon, the result being an incredible
anti-tank and anti-air weapon with awesome projectile speed. Given the
necessity, Blasters are also able to make a mess of individual
infantrymen too.
UNDH Pistolier
UNDH Soldiers equipped with Big
Bertha Handcannnons are more than a match for massed infantry columns,
with single pistol slugs leaving piles of dead in their wake. Pistoliers
are equipped with the usual UNDH resilience and abilities.
Taurus Engine
The Taurus Engine is the
smallest war machine deployed by the Human forces, standing in at around
twelve feet tall. A very nimble and agile machine, the Taurus Engine is
used to charge headlong into enemy formations, tearing infantrymen and
vehicles alike to pieces with any of its four long arms, each tipped
with a ferocious array of disturbingly unsubtle bladed fingers.
(Mauling) Rapier
The Mauling Rapier is a variant
of the basic tall, long legged bipedal ‘rapier’ walker chassis, in this
instance armed with a vicious anti-infantry cannon. It is fast and
lightly armoured, capable of laying down incredible torrents of fire
into enemy ranks. Its presence is feared, and rightly so, for it takes a
great deal of fire to take the Rapier down, which can be easily outrun
by the war machine.
(Rampaging) Rapier
The Rampaging Rapier is the
alternate variation of the ‘rapier’ chassis, turning over the chaingun
for multiple missile weapons, and smaller flame projecting canisters to
deter short ranged infantry attacks. The Rampaging Rapier presents
anti-war machine firepower en mass, and can take down airborne targets
with greater ease than other units.
Dross Stinger
The Dross Stinger is an enormous
arachnid structure, featuring six limbs for movement, allowing it to
traverse terrain with great ease. It’s not particularly fast; however
its appearance is terrifying to those that behold it, even unsettling
troops friendly to the unit. The forward two limbs feature simple
cutting blades that can be used to great effect against infantry,
despite its lack of speed and the lack of speed in its attacks. The
Stinger however takes its name from the tail, armed with a pair of
brutal Plasma Cannons, scything through armour, flesh and bone with
equal ease.
Centaurus
The Centaurus is the largest
vehicle available to the human forces. Standing in excess of sixty feet
tall, it’s a sight to behold indeed. An incredible quadrapedal behemoth,
the Centaurus features a large howdah from which a great many troops can
fight, and the head itself contains an impressive array of cannons,
which can fire a devastating volley every few seconds. Despite its size,
the Centaurus can move with frightening speed, mostly due to the
construction of the four extremely manoeuvrable limbs.
Hummingbirds
Flying into battle carried by
its rapidly flapping wings, the Hummingbird is an excellent support
weapon. The Hummingbird utilises vicious anti-armour rockets, rendering
it capable of dealing damage to large war machines and installations
with ease. Hummingbirds are also armed with a symbolic crushing beak and
claws, used for picking off enemy infantry and attacking particularly
threatening light war machines.
