...Command or Destroy Humanity...
...Of Clones and Heroes...
The Crucible of War is set to feature two distinctly
different factions; the light and mobile swarms that is the Clone Hive,
and the intensely drilled combat machine that is the last vestige of
Humanity.
The clone army focuses around a single strategy - mass attack. With
an enormous wave of infantry, bristling with firepower hurtling headlong
into an enemy position, it's difficult for the enemy to pick out
important targets or bring the full brunt of his firepower to bear
against them. Swarms can quickly overrun and wear out defensive
positions given enough manpower, regardless of the troops used.
Smash your opponent into the ground under a veritable torrent of
soldiers armed with lethal melee weapons and short range rapid fire
weaponry, crush him into the ground under the heels of a thousand boots,
storm into his camp, raid his stores, demolish his defences and run the
survivors down. Then the following wave begins...

Despite representing an attacking force, the Human forces are still
greatly outnumbered (about 1:350,000!) and utilise a heavy defensive
strategy. Human forces are able to occupy spaces and lay down a
veritable torrent of fire over a long distance, ideal for eliminating
the swarms of opponents they face. The drawback? Immobility. Without
being stationary, human forces are unable to bring their incredible
firepower to bear, and as a result, it can be difficult to advance under
fire from a determined Clone general. Structures and heroes have not yet
been fully devised.

Hunters Say:
Does the mean distance travelled by an average gib depend on the weapon that created such gib, and if so, what is the formula relating gib distance to weapon greatness? -Balrog
