...Weapons of Mass Distraction...
...Your kit options in Death of a Hero...

Your choice of equipment will vary throughout the solo game, as you gain rank in the human fighting force, you'll gain access to superior equipment and accessories. It's not all listed here, but this is a small taster of what will be available in the final product.

Weapons

Glock 18 Pistol
The Glock 18 is a fairly normal handgun. It takes a 15 shot straight magazine and features two firing modes - a single shot firing mode and a three shot burst. It can be upgraded to carry a larger magazine of 24 shots if desired.

Heckler & Koch P2000
The H&K P2000 handgun is a more modern semi-automatic pistol that features extremely high reliability and performance. It takes a 9 shot clip and is very quick to reload. It can additionally feature flare reduction and silencing or a laser-marker and scope option.

Heckler & Koch MP-7 PDW (Personal Defence Weapon)
The H&K MP-7 PDW (Personal Defence Weapon) is a high velocity sub-machine gun. It is very compact and lightweight making it fairly easy to wield. It has excellent armour penetrative ability, but lacks real effective range. It takes a 32 shot straight magazine and has a vicious rate of fire. The MP-7 may also be fitted with a retractable butt stock to facilitate more effective marksmanship, and carry an extended sickle magazine of 45 shots if desired.

Famas Felin G2
The latest version of the French Famas range, the Felin G2 is the single most accessorised weapon available to the regular soldier. In its unupgraded form it is only a compact machine gun with a fair rate of fire and an average level of power behind each shot. It takes a 22 round clip magazine offering a fair source of ammunition. When accessorised, the G2 comes to its' own. With options including silencing and flare reduction, accuracy improving buttstock option, 2x scope and laser markers, ability to fit a 64 round box magazine and space for an M203 grenade launcher.

Heckler & Koch G36E
The G36 is a standard assault rifle, and the 'E' version is the model deployed by the majority of forces involved in the war. It is reliable, accurate and easy to maintain in battle conditions and is the most common weapon found in the Bundeswehr armouries. It is fitted with an integral 4x scope and has the ability to fit an additional M203 grenade launcher and take dum-dum ammunition.

Geldmacher SVD
The Geldmacher is a modernised .50 rendition of the reliable Soviet Druganov rifle. It is a high efficient, high power rifle with excellent accuracy. It's middle of the range status makes it easily wieldable by foot soldiers and reduces deployment time. It is very lightweight for a weapon of its class, and is also semi-automatic taking a sickle magazine of 8 rounds, which are rumoured to have sometimes penetrated walls.

Equipment

Ka-Bar
The Ka-Bar is your trusty combat knife, best used when conserving ammunition and when noise reduction is needed most. Even if you have nothing else, you'll always have your knife.

Fragmentation Grenades
Every soldier may be given fragmentation grenades with which to deal with enemy infantry and can be used for room clearance if need be.

Flashbang Grenades
Every soldier may also be given flashbang grenades, which is excellent in crowd control situations or for room clearance minus fragmentation grenades, or even if there is an importance objective present that must not be damaged.

Crowbar
You'll find this during your expeditions. It can be used to pry things open, and much more importantly, the ingenious device can be used to bash people.

Dirt Bike
The best way to travel - in style. Certain missions allow you to use a special UNDH issue dirt bike for recon missions and such like. It sure is a lot of fun, and is very fast, but tends to handle like a brick so watch for impending doom in the form of large oncoming objects.

Vehicles

The player will have the option of riding in several vehicles, or even being at the helm in some instances. Humvees and tanks will feature predominantly in Death of a Hero, but there are additionally more esoteric creations, such as the almighty UNDHSS David Slayer Sea-Fortress and the armoured shell of the UNDH 'Jackal' Exoskeleton...
